Last month I was bestowed with an honorable request; visit Japan for three weeks to help build a series of short documentaries that will help areas impacted by last years earthquake/tsunami disaster. How could we say no?
The videos, referred to as the brand Japanese Greats, will be featured at an exhibition in London along with the products that they're about. The products are unique to Japan, have a traditional aspect to them, yet are very cool and relevant today.
The government is funding this as an effort to increase exports of these awesome products! Our videos will document the creators, and give exhibit visitors a taste of what kinds of processes these products go through as they're made.

Because we're already here, you might not see another journal update for a while! We'll be sure to add a bunch of photos from the trip (and some video sneak peaks, as well).
